Abstract

The results of particle size analyses by the low-technology pipette method and by the modern SediGraph, of a suite of fine lacustrine bottom sediment samples, are compared. However, the study principally considers the influence of the different methods of grain size analysis on environmental discrimination by means of textural parameters, in particular the QDa-Md method of graphical analysis
