Abstract

This system provides for the collection of timely and cost-effective spatial information. Data are collected for an area of rapid rural-to-urban land-use change by using low-cost receivers in static and kinematic modes. They were processed for input to GIS and assessed for their positional accuracy. The 4 km[2] area is located at the northeastern fringe of metropolitan Toronto
