Abstract

The variations in erosion rate should depend on and be predictable from the initial moisture content profile and the erosivity of the flow. The present paper presents the results of a series of experiments which were carried out to collect the necessary data to verify this hypothesis and to establish to what extent knowledge of the initial soil moisture profile can be used to predict time-dependency of erosion rates
