Abstract

The new results of [40]Ar/[39]Ar laser-fusion analyses conducted on milligram-quantity bulk subsamples of Minnie Creek lava, coupled with amino acid epimerization and paleomagnetic criteria, demonstrate that the Nome River glaciation and the subsequent shift from extensive to restricted glacial advances, is considerably younger than 800,000 yr
