Abstract

The rapid evolution of environmental planning and sustainability in South Africa is catching up with resource management in the renewable sectors, namely water, soil, forests and fisheries. The National Water Act is taken as an example of legislation promoting sustainability. The issue of government presentation, enforecent and community responses are explored. - (AJC)
