Effective application of automated digital photogrammetry for geomorphological research

Authors(s) and Affiliation(s)

The aim of this paper is to highlight potential problems and to provide some recommendations on how best to use digital photogrammetry. This advice is developed further in the final section where it is explained how such software may be applied in the case of oblique and close-range imagery. Application at this scale and configuration is more difficult than the conventional normal case, but success using oblique imagery will enable the user to take full advantage of one of the more flexible and cost-effective applications of this particular technology
