Abstract

The karst area of Great Britain are very varied regarding their formation and construction. The AA. take the following areas in turn : the karst areas of the Yorkshire Dales and the North Pennines, the Peak District, the Mendip Hills, the magnisium limestone areas of Northern England, the Cretaceous chalk areas of Southeastern England, the Devonian carbonates of Southwestern England, the karst area of wales and Scottland. - (ZK)
