Abstract

In this study, changes in the structure and physical properties of the surface crust of an Andisol, especially during the rainfall, were measured by using a rainfall simulator, and effects of surface crust on hydrology and soil erodibility are discussed. Soil material used was an Andisol (clay loam) taken from an orchard in Yamanashi prefecture of Japan
