Abstract

The intellectual possibilities of spatial analysis now seem to be exhausted. Its view of place was flawed and its vision very partial. Concepts of territory, place, locality, spatial division of labor proved elusive. The A. wants to conceptualize his reconstruction of the role that space plays by identifying the particular model of science to which spatial analysis belongs. Spatial analysis needs to be understood as an intellectual movement in a particular place at a particular time
