Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to review the findings of the ethnic minority business literature, the key debates arising therefrom and the manner in which the discourse is developed. The AA. begin with an evaluative summary of the emergence of a British research agenda in the 1980s. They follow by a review of the most recent wave of British contributions, with its attempt to grapple with the rapidly changing nature of ethnic minority enterprise (maturation of South Asian business communities, entry of African-Caribbeans)
