Abstract

With the implementation of economic reform and open policy, China has expanded its foreign trade, utilized a lot of foreign investment, and therefore its economy has been increasingly integrated into world economy. The coastal region has got more opportunities of development. The existing urban clusters are spreading and new ones are appearing. Environmental pollution has become a serious problem in coastal cities
