Abstract

Five types of environmental situation are distinguished and seven groups of main factors are used to identify and classify the critical environmental situation. They are pollution, endemic disease, soil erosion, drought and water shortage, forest degeneration, wind erosion and desertification, and soil salinization. The region is divided into eight small districts through combining the critical environmental situation, regional distribution law and guiding factors
