Abstract

Potential natural vegetation of the Warsaw voivodeship includes 15 types: Peucedano-Pinetum, Leucobryo-Pinetum, Salici-Populetum, Carici elongatae-Alnetum, Circaeo-Alnetum, Querco-Pinetum, Potentillo albae-Quercetum, Ficario-Ulmetum chrysosplenietosum, Tilio-Carpinetum poor series, Tilio-Carpinetum rich series, Oxycocco-Sphagnetea, Cladonio-Pinetum, Viccinio uliginosi-Pinetum, Molinio-Pinetum. On these habitats no plant communities occur which belong to 13 phystosociological classes. On the basis of the spatial structure of vegetation it is possible to distinguish 16 regional units, which represent different vegetation landscape types. - (DG)
