Abstract

An alternative interpretation of post Fordism and flexible specialisation is that a shift from just-in-case to just-in-time systems is taking place. This shift is the more useful conceptualisation of changing workplace relations. Some directions for geographical research interested in the diffusion and impact of just-in-time methods are outlined
