Abstract

Arizona's 22 Indian reservations comprise 25% of the state's territory and are home to 160 000 people. Lack of prosperity is attributed to differences in world views, time orientation, competitiveness, spirituality, family responsabilities and decision-making processes from those of the dominant American society. - ( DWG)
