Abstract

The Spanish-American concept of thier homeland in New Mexico and southern Colorado is the aggregate of the hundreds of patrias chicas to which each person in this group has a sentimental attachment. The environmental adjustment, landscape imprint, and identity of place of Hispano people are described. - (DWG)
