Abstract

Earth flows described in this study are a type of mass movement involving fine soils, characterized by velocities of a few meters or less per day, persisting for several days, months or years. The studies were carried out in order to determine what morphological properties characterize earthflows of this type and how they change with time. The AA. studied the evolution of landslide activity in the Eden Canyon Area; the distribution of 1978-1986 landslides regarding ancient deposits, steepness of slope, geology and pattern of rainfall was taken into consideration
